Rebecca Proctor dresses like the Victoria and Richard the original founders and even stole the couples name home. This is a copy cat feud impersonator of original artists. Originals are on you tube you can see by old pic and homes orf the original artist Rebecca is mimicking copying the couple down to speech dress work location. It's a white collar crime

"Avoid Hollyhock Birdhouse"
I paid full price ($200) for a Hollyhock Birdhouse, May 2021. Enjoyed it for 2 summers & stored the birdhouse inside during winter. While in the garage, saw paint chipping on the tin top. I wrote and included a photo. The response was, 'sorry we can't help you'. For a company that prides itself on unique & high quality merchandise, it was shocking how they don't stand up for what they sell. Awful Company!

"This is the worst company I have ever done business with"
This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I have tried to deal with them last Christmas and then this one. I hoped they had improved. They have not. They promise "specials" and then don't honor them. They don't answer questions about the problems. Then if you try to call, you get a message that tells you people can only deal with them through emails. Their phone number doesn't connect you with anyone. They take a long time to process your order and then tell you they are out of stock. If they had processed the order in a timely matter, I have no doubt I would have been able to receive what I ordered. Sadly, this is the company that Patience Brewster sold her company to. I don't want to go through this company to buy anything. They are very overpriced and want themselves to be known as "luxury" items. But they treat their customers very badly. Their "customer service" is none existent.

"Do not order direct through them!"
If you insist on the brand, order from Neimans or somewhere else. The customer service when going through the Mackenzie childs site is absolutely pitiful. They cant fulfill orders and don't even get me started on wedding registry. They wanted me to chase down family friends about orders... PATHETIC. NEVER AGAIN!

I am very disappointed Mackenzie-Childs will not take phone calls, only emails to communicate. I sent them an email 4 days ago and so far no response to my problem. This is not a customer focused company. It will be the last item I buy from them and will advise my friends of the same.

"Don't expect your money back..."
They're about as good as any other fly-by-night. Would not recommend. They lack customer service. Waited a week for a response. No working phone number, at their mercy for a return. Not sure if they will take anything back.

"NO CUSTOMER SERVICE"
I shopped their warehouse sale and when checking out it said shipping 3-10 days. I was planning to be in Florida for a month over Christmas so I decided to ship it to myself there. 2 of the 6 items shipped and the other 4 they said were held up at their warehouse. When I told them they could ship the rest to my other address if they didn't come before the 18th, well I got the notification they shipped with fed ex and would be to me in Florida by the 18th! Days later the customer service answered and said they marked the package to be returned to them so fed ex returned it to them and then they just canceled my order and refunded me. I asked why they couldn't just ship the same box to me and they said they already returned the items and I asked to reorder the items and they said they were sold out. Customer service emails are not answered for days, like 7 days and they are so incompetent about any issue. This brand is a sell out to China or some other largely produced factory and they do not care about their customers!

"Do not buy from this company"
I placed an order on 12/28/22 and 20 days later no items with the order listed as "open" on their website. You can only contact them by email which I did with a response "we have had so many orders that we are filling daily". I like their products but will never purchase online again. We be contacting PayPal with this issue to get my money back

"Very frustrating"
I placed on order at the end of September. One of the items was backordered. However, that date has been pushed back twice with no guarantee of any delivery date. It is the end of December and I'm not sure when I will receive anything. Terrible experience. The $130 spoon rest that I bought broke in two places after 3 weeks. It didn't fall on a hard floor or anything. A half-empty plastic wrap cardboard box that only box fell a very short distance onto it (6-8 inches). The box was very lightweight. I would have expected it to be a bit more durable. It splintered everywhere.

"This is not Child's play - Buyer Beware!"
I was a fan of McKenzie Child's quirky designs until I had a problem. Then I discovered their horrible customer service. They do not give a crap about you. I bought several of their tissue holders in the black & white check. After owning them for 3 or 4 months I noticed a red stain on my bathroom countertop. Turns out the enamel coating they applied did not adhere correctly or was too thin and the metal box was rusting. I contacted their customer service/sent pictures several times without reply. Several more attempts and I finally got them to respond. You are going to love this: they said that I bought a metal tissue box and what did I expect? They said sorry about my luck but there was nothing they could do for me!
No, sorry about your luck! I'll never buy from you again. My advice to other potential customers is don't be sucked in by family friendly advertising - watch your back. There is nothing friendly or quaint about these guys! Buyers Beware! See rust below.

"Company is Not Reputable!"
Horrible Customer Service!
They only sent me half of my barn sale order. They said they emailed me about a credit card issue. I never received an email from them. I was told by a supervisor that I could re-order the items at 20% off! What nerve! I will not purchase items from them anymore!

"Rusted teapot"
My teapot rusted after less that a year. I read several reviews with same problem. I was offered a 20% discount on next purchase. My son bought me the teapot when he was just 22 because he felt it was a special piece. I have not told him it turned out to b garbage. OH I forget they offered to send me a damn screw and wing nut to replace the corroded one. Go Fiqure!

"Horrible, made in China, Dangerous to use"
They offered me a 20% discount on a new tea pot because seeing my photos of broken, chipped, rusted teapot, they said it was unsafe and I should buy a new one... for $400. Also, my enamel pot from MacKenzie-Childs is chipped inside and thus unsafe to use. I only hand washed. Attractive looking lowest quality products. Horrible

"Company Lacks Customer Service"
I ordered $1000 of wallpaper in April 8. I contacted customer service for a one time courtesy request to return the wallpaper since receiving a diagnosis of stage 4 breast cancer. I understand the policy for returns is 30 days, but my meds are 15K per month and I really need that money to help cover my expenses. After requesting 3 times to escalate up the management chain, my request was denied. How sad we live in this world where people are no longer considered and a profitable company like Mackenzie Childs cannot be humane or empathetic.

"McKenzie products are made in China!"
I was surprised to see my purchase with a "made in China" notation. This adds to my conclusion that there is no logical reason for their ridiculously high prices. Perhaps once upon a time they were artistic products but that is so over.
